So I just got the FROYO update to my T-Mobile MyTouch 3g with the 3.5mm jack. I HATE IT. It runs slow, freezes, lags, etc. I decided I'd try to root my phone and just install a different ROM. I've searched the forums and followed the "Ultimate Guide", but I get stuck when running SuperOneClick (1.6.3). I have a feeling it has to do with the NAND lock, and so far I've yet to find a way to "S-Off" so that SoC can finish successfully. I really wish I had never taken the update, i was really happy with 1.6, now my phone sucks. Here's what i get with SoC:
