I'm looking at a 32GB Nexus 7 for $250 from Newegg (no tax and free 2-day shipping), or waiting for Black Friday and getting the exclusive black 16GB TF300T from Best Buy for $280 (about $305 after tax), maybe picking up the keyboard dock for $100 too.
There isn't really any other tablet I'd want for the price (under $400 after tax/shipping), since basically every other option seems to lack in some major regard (bad screen, less than 720p screen resolution, no developer support, etc).
So between the two, any strong reason to go with one over the other? Simply put:
-HDMI-out isn't necessary - barely any use for it
-Keyboard dock (or option for one) isn't necessary - I have a decent Bluetooth keyboard, and there's like one situation in my life where the extra battery life would be useful (traveling to another country)
-Rear camera isn't necessary - it's better than my Galaxy Nexus camera, but can't imagine a situation where I'd use it over my phone anyway
-MicroSD expansion isn't necessary - 32GB is decent for me (especially with an OTG cable), I barely use more than that
-NFC...couldn't care less about it
My concern for each is quality control issues (Nexus 7) and I/O issues (TF300T).
With all that being said, should I just take the cheaper option with the Nexus 7 and hope I don't end up with a bad one?
