Sorry if this has been discussed to death, but it's a valid issue that applies to almost all ICS devices I've come into contact with, my xperia play running gingerbread wasn't all that spectacular either until I hacked and tweaked the crap outta it, but is now my "Ideal baseline".
After playing Predators on my Gadmei T883 the other day I came to realize that the touchscreen lag is coming from somewhere in the ui or os that predators bypasses. It was so amazingly responsive that I've come to wonder exactly what it was that is causing the lag and why/how predators accesses it with an additional issue being that if I update to the newest available firmware for it predators causes a reboot after loading its assets (but on the other hand Netflix now works on the tablet unlike with the HK DIY 1.1 firmware which steals your google play account info possibly...).
But my point being, the touchscreen was extremely responsive, almost as smooth as my xperia play is with EVERYTHING... now I've tried all sorts of tweaks and mods to eek out as much performance as possible but as of yet haven't been able to get any of my ICS devices to perform even close to an acceptable level. Making everything from drawing to gaming either tedious or impossible. (I have 2 ICS devices, a viewsonic touchscreen monitor VSD220 and the Gadmei T883)
I was just wondering if anyone had any input as to what might've been allowing predators to have such smooth and responsive input versus every other app and why it would stop working on a newer firmware...
Also, any generic touchscreen issues, tweaks, fixes, etc. discussion is extremely encouraged here and I'd love to hear any hypothesis however asinine they may seem (entropy topics have been filled with all sorts of mud slinging, let's make a mess!)
